My Naked Finances Program

Not able to get ahead financially? Feeling overwhelmed and unable to manage with your current income? Did you see mom or dad go down the wrong financial path and now fear that you may be doing the same? Don’t let shame rob you of the dignity that comes with getting a handle on your finances.

School didn't teach it. Family didn't preach it... or help you practice it.

Financial literacy is a capability that requires action to benefit from it. There are plenty of lessons around if you watch closely for the financial challenges that friends and family ignore or try to hide. Unfortunately, those who do not learn from those lessons are doomed to experience similar challenges themselves.

That does not have to be you.

The My Naked Finances program is here to help you avoid that outcome and do better with your finances even when you might not be in the best financial position to afford the collaborative help you need.

The My Naked Finances program includes the following

A person with a shaved head is seen from behind, gesturing with their hands while participating in a video call on a laptop. The laptop screen shows another person with dark hair and glasses in a striped shirt.

1. 6 months of money coaching, at no cost to you.*

You’ll be working with a financial health specialist from Moneycopilot, LLC, a small business award finalist and our parent company. Their $idekick program is a fee only program that already has a track record of success.

While it is a foundational component of the My Naked Finances program, anyone can pay to participate in the $idekick program without the full transparency requirements of the My Naked Finances program. Creative strategies around the use of bonus money from different sources augment the included budgeting and credit management features of the $idekick program.

* – W-9 required. You’ll receive a 1099 the following year for the value of the services provided.

2. Challenges that give you the opportunity to create an emergency fund, reduce expenses, and ultimately build your pile of cash.

Program participants may be asked to engage in an activity that offers a reward in the form of points, discounts, or rebates on expenses that they would normally have to pay on their own.

The winning participant of a challenge effectively gets a temporary reduction in a regular expense and the savings can be used to handle other expenses, build up their emergency fund, or add to other savings. Some challenges may include the marketing and sale of certain merchandise, like t-shirts, mugs, etc., for the benefit of program participants.**

** – Challenge rewards are meant to be tax free to the program participant. No funds will be required from participants to design, market, or sell merchandise.

3. Published video and audio of your financial journey.

This will include successes, failures, and personal journal entries so that family and friends can support you and others may learn from the journey.

Program participants will participate in recorded $idekick sessions with their financial health specialist at least twice a month. In addition, day-to-day activities while moving towards improvement, including failures, will be chronicled via personal video journal entries. The resulting video content will be edited and published for public consumption on YouTube, podcasts, and other distribution channels.

This program is not for everyone.

Target income is focused on a range including the median income for U.S. workers. Those whose expenses exceed income to the point of seriously considering bankruptcy won’t typically benefit from this program due to finances being too far gone and the financial hole being too deep to dig out of. However, those recovering from a discharged bankruptcy may benefit.

With success in the program, there’ll be no more avoiding the mailbox or your inbox due to bills and the stress that can come with how to pay them. Have confidence in knowing that your expenses, even the seemingly unplanned ones, no longer completely empty your wallet. Breathe that sigh of relief from being able to buy clothes, gifts, or take a trip without going into debt being the only way to pay for it. If the requirement for full transparency is what is holding you back, don’t worry. We won’t be broadcasting your social security number, bank/credit card account numbers, or other sensitive information to the world.

The goal is NOT to invite trouble or otherwise add risk to your life. Broadcasting the journey so that others can learn from it is what matters and editing to remove sensitive information is built in. But your viewers and supporters are bound to see some part of themselves in you and representation there will help them to see that, if you can do it, they can too. If facing public scrutiny or judgment is just too much for you, enrolling directly into the $idekick program with Moneycopilot, LLC is always an option for anyone outside of the My Naked Finances program and that option will preserve your privacy. But, again, the $idekick program is not free so you would be paying out of pocket for it in that case.

***THIS IS NOT A DEBT CONSOLIDATION OR SETTLEMENT PROGRAM THAT REQUIRES YOU TO STOP USING CREDIT.***

Sponsored Participants

3rd parties may be interested in sponsoring existing or new participants in the My Naked Finances program. Sponsorship can help companies looking for a way to contribute, high net worth individuals looking to support their adult children with financial health and accountability, or even fulfillment of a particular philanthropic goal.

Whatever the reason for the sponsorship, we can work with you to establish a budget and the necessary parameters and requirements to send someone who might not otherwise qualify to participate in the program including challenges. The transparency requirement is a key aspect to seeing regular progress updates and encouraging accountability. Of course, if privacy is required instead, anyone can pay to enroll someone directly into the $idekick program with Moneycopilot, LLC.
